About us . . .
DWIT is built on the foundation of an abundant mindset – we believe that by helping others, we are more likely to achieve what we personally have set out to do. The group exists to build up intelligent, kind, and professional women in Denver tech by providing a space for members to come together to learn and grow in a supportive environment. DWIT focuses on both professional and personal development, encouraging our members to help each other with our “asks” – specific items we are working on individually.

Amanda recently stepped in as the Vice President of Sales for AppIt Ventures, a Denver mobile app development company. She is working to build the team here in Denver, CO and is preparing to take the helm as CEO in late-2018/early-2019.
Amanda founded Denver Women in Tech, a meetup designed to provide monthly professional development sessions specifically for women working in the tech sector, in March 2017. Since then, Denver Women in Tech has grown to an active membership of almost 700 members, primarily due to the hard work of our dedicated volunteer committee. She is a strong advocate for women in the workplace and has a passion for leveraging technology to improve business practices.
Amanda is the Senior Director of Customer Success at PaySimple in downtown Denver. Prior to joining PaySimple in 2016, she worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Born and raised in South Dakota where her parents own and operate a small hotel, customer service and hospitality are in her blood. If not working or at home in Golden, she likes to spend as much time as possible off the grid at her and her husband’s cabin in Grand County.
Jenny has been in the HR & Ops space for the majority of her career. She has a sweet spot for recruiting and is currently the Director, Talent Acquisition at Healthgrades in Denver. Her passion is fueled by her belief that the right talent is the backbone of every organization and that organizations will have the most success by diversifying their talent. Even though she’s “always recruiting,” she still finds time to take advantage of the great state of Colorado by hiking with her dog, cycling, and exploring craft breweries with her friends…..which sometimes leads to a few of her other passions- nachos and karaoke.
Kayla is a Colorado native and loves living in Denver. She believes that human connections are what make the business world (and the world in general) go around, and has been working in account management and customer success for the past few years. Currently, she is a Customer Success Manager at FullContact, and is all about working with clients to make their business better. When she's not working, you can usually find her checking out local breweries (mostly likely accompanied by her miniature dachshund, Penny) or practicing the LaGree method of pilates (if you haven't heard of it, check it out!). She'll be helping with Marketing and Visibility for Denver Women in Tech and is already excited about the awesome community we're building!
Daimi is currently a Salesforce Developer at Inspirato in downtown Denver, and loves that she gets to include her love of travel with her career. She has been working in software and technology for the past 8 years, and has a passion for finding the best strategies for a balance of quality and development in software. She's currently studying full-time to get her B.S. in Software Engineering at Arizona State University. When she's not working or studying, she's experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, getting a good workout in, teaming up with friends at Trivia nights, exploring new restaurants downtown, or playing board games. She's thrilled to be helping out with Events and the website for DWIT.
Naya Rhodes is a recent college graduate. Her field is Actuarial Mathematics and currently is studying for her Actuarial exams. She loves animals, the outdoors, and music. In her spare time, she crochets, plays guitar, practices yoga, hikes, and rock climbs. She enjoys being involved in groups and organizations that support people in achieving success.
Rebecca has been a member of high-powered software engineering teams her whole career. She loves the challenge of building quality products and is currently leaning in on Gloo's Insights Platform as Lead Data Engineer. Rebecca believes we build the best products and reach our full potential when we recognize and tap into the strengths of those around us. When not working, she might be on her bike, enjoying family time with her husband and kids, cooking, reading a good book or just getting outside.
